Marketing Logic is an innovative marketing recource helping small and medium-sized companies grow and develop.
We have been engaged in this task since 1996 and during that time have built a wide experience in different B2B sectors, including: engineering, manufacturing, distribution, food, automotive, professional services, and construction-related.
Marketing Logic is able to handle all aspects of marketing and business development, including research, strategy, planning, and implementation activities. We deliver an effective mix of sound marketing professionalism, combined with a practical hands-on approach, all within agreed cost parameters.
Marketing Manager
More recently we have become aware of the needs of smaller companies that want to elevate the level and quality of their marketing in order to remain competitive, but do not feel able to handle it themselves, or justify the costs of employing a full time marketing professional.
Marketing Manager was launched to meet the needs of companies in this situation. We offer a flexible, on-site service – how much time we spend is determined by exactly what you would like us to achieve and handle for you. We always specify this in some detail before we start.
We prepare cost / benefit statements in advance so there is a sound business case for the costs we represent. In that way, there is clarity around lead times on achieving a return.
Marketing Manager can be engaged in one of two ways. We can provide on-going marketing management, handling a specified range of activities and achieving results within a monthly budget.
Alternatively, we can manage a marketing initiative that has a finite end to it, such as developing and launching a new product. In this case we will agree an overall time allowance and budget for the project in total, broken down into stages.
We aim to be an integral part of your team, but formally operate as a sub-contracted service provider.
Chris Edwards – Managing Director
Chris Edwards is a senior marketing professional, generating increased profits for clients by devising and implementing robust business growth strategies.
For the last 10 years Chris has been running his own business, having successfully established Marketing Logic Ltd in 1996. He is a Chartered Marketer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and gained a Masters qualification in Marketing Management from Nottingham Business School in 1998.
He has undertaken the task of business development from many different perspectives including new business starts, as well as revitalising mature businesses.
Chris has a prior background in the engineering, automotive, and food sectors, having worked for a number of plcs, notably Senior Engineering, BTR Industries, Lucas Industries, and Cadbury Schweppes. This has included positions as sales and marketing director.
He has fulfilled key customer management responsibilities with major accounts and undertaken broader PR and ambassadorial roles.
During his career he has been responsible for business development activities in Europe, establishing distribution in major territories such as Germany, France, Holland and Scandinavia.
